Responsibilities:
Effective teamwork and cost efficiency result from good communication with office based engineering teams, rig based drilling supervisors and production platform based personnel. The successful candidate will supervise from 3 to 10 service company personnel (depending upon the size of the job). In addition to effective communication, the successful candidate has the following accountabilities: • Onshore equipment inspections, stack-up tests and equipment lists, • Pre-job planning, mobilization and de-mob of equipment, • Permitting, risk assessments and conducting tool box talks, • Direct supervision of new completions jobs or wellwork jobs, • Safe execution of new well completions and older well workovers, • Daily drilling reports (oral, written and electronic), • Engineering calculations for gravel packing, sand screens, fluids, etc., • Technical consultations and advice about completions and wellwork, • Safe and effective handover documents.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or any other Technical Discipline, • Minimum of 6 years of experience in completions and interventions, • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity, • Certificate in IWCF Well Control (Subsea) Supervisory Level, • Experience in open hole gravel packing, • Experience in expandable screen operations, • Experience in coiled tubing operations, • Experience in slickline and electric-line operations. • Experience in Stimulation operations, cased-hole, perforating operations and fluid pumping operations, • Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, • Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani (and Russian), • Minimum 2 years involved with multi-national work teams, • Computer literacy, • Certificates from leadership training courses, • Certificates showing mechanical aptitude, • Certificates for mathematical aptitude, • Certificate incident investigation.
