POSITION OBJECTIVE:
- Responsibility to handle all Customers over the Counter requirements related to Cash Transactions and Check Deposits.
- Sale and Cashing of Foreign and Local Currencies.
- Handing of Cash Shipments and Reserve Cash.
- Provide courteous, top class quality Customer Service at all time.
- Commonly with all applicable Rules and Regulations both Internal and External associated with this position.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handling of Cash related transactions over the counter, and booking of the relative
financial / accounting entries on bank operating system. This will include:
• Deposits and Withdrawals of LCY/FCY transactions
• Handling of check related transactions over the counter, and the booking of the relative
financial / accounting entries on bank operating system. This will include:
• Encashment of FCY checks for named customers, as per approved preferred customer
name list
• Selling, Purchase of American Express Travelers Checks, following branch approved
procedures
• Handling of POS-transactions (cards)
• Issuance of certificates, local check books
• Observe the Compliance, Money Laundering, Know Your Customer, Sanctions, and
other regulations as laid down in Branch Operations
• Prepare Tellers Proof
• Report Cash deposits / Withdrawals from Nostro accounts to Treasury
• Prepare and update the Departmental Control Function Checklists (DCFC)
• Control of all cash transactions for compliance with the Currency regulation
• Record of all cash transactions over 10.000$ (compliance with the AML policy)
• Accept IFT forms from card accounts and check for compliance with Currency regulation
ATM loading
• Cash delivery to customers
• Keep transaction volumes, check registers
• Complete Departmental Function Checklists (DCFCs) as required
• Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
1-2-year teller's experience
High school diploma
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Good knowledge of local regulations
