The applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
1. Minimum five years experience of working in the oil & gas industry. Experience of working with international companies will be an advantage.
2. Experience in reservoir engineering, development projects, reservoir modelling including well planning, reserves estimation and production forecasting.
3. Experience in field activities including drilling, completion and production operations.
4. Knowledge of drilling practices including completion equipment.
5. Minimum a bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering or other similar sciences. Postgraduate qualifications are preferred.
6. Fluent spoken and written Russian and English, particularly technical language.
7. Experience with commonly used reservoir engineering software.
Duties will include:
1. Field supervision of petroleum engineering activities including gathering of electric logging and other field data at the rig site.
2. Quality control and analysis of production and reservoir data.
3. Preparation of raw data files for use in reservoir modelling and analytical programmes using industry standard software.
4. Take a lead role in studies projects including evaluation of field data, input into reservoir modelling programmes, liaison with local Technical Institutes responsible for final preparation of field development programmes.
5. Planning of wells with input to drilling programmes.
6. Planning of production facilities with input into well testing and data gathering requirements.
7. Liaison with Government authorities on data, reporting and compliance issues.
