Job Purpose
To ensure a timely and cost effective flow of products in a condition conforming to Good Distribution Practice between head office and the customers within the country.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the forecasts between sales/marketing staff and HQ Logistics.
Liaise with distributer regarding stock requirements.
Place monthly manufacturing orders on HQ Logistics.
Liaise with distributer/ shipping agency/HQ Logistics regarding shipment and customs clearance.
Ensure collection and reading of hotdogs after clearance and arrival at central warehouse.
Oversee the integrity of the cool chain and monitor the actions of the distribution distributers.
Maintain stock records.
Arrange inter branch transfers.
Receive requests for quotations, obtain pricing approval and authorize distributer to issue quotation.
Coordinate the compilation of tender offers in conjunction with the sales, marketing and Head office functions
Maintain a record of all invoices received from HQ.
Keep a record of all sample stock and distributions to country managers.
Maintain a record of customer pricing.
Consolidate and distribute in-market sales data to sales and marketing departments.
Liaise with DRA and artwork departments for new product introductions or pack changes.

Efficient flow of temperature info to expedite clearance.
Stock availability
Timely completion of tender offers and quotations.
Professional and General Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in Logistics
Higher education
Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English
Experienced PC
